Hygiene is an important aspect of not spreading disease and sickness, as well as setting a good self-image for yourself. Since it is one of the most effective ways to protect ourselves and others from germs and illnesses.

Proper personal hygiene can improve your overall health and is a good habit to have.

To have good hygiene, it is highly recommended to:

1 - Regularly Bathe

It is recommended to wash your body and hair often. Since your body is constantly shedding skin. It is recommended to bathe at least twice a week to achieve positive effects. Cold showers are recommended to increase circulation.

2 - Trim Your Finger And Toe Nails

To keep your nails trimmed and in a good shape can prevent problems such as; hang nails and infected nail beads. Hang nails and infected nail beds are painful and uncomfortable to have.

3 - Brush And Floss Your Teeth

Brushing your and flossing teeth minimizes the bacteria in your mouth and can prevent tooth decay and gum disease. It is recommended to brush your teeth at least once in the morning and once at night to keep your teeth clean and healthy.

4 - Wash Your Hands

It is advised to wash your hands before preparing or eating food, after using the bathroom, after coughing or sneezing, after handling garbage. Washing your hands help prevent the spread of bacteria or viruses. It is recommended to have an alcohol-based sanitizing gel when you are unable to wash your hands properly.

5 - Having A Proper Sleeping Schedule

Having proper rest (which would preferable to have 8 to 10 hours of sleep) can have you refreshed and energized. Lacking sleep can ruin your body's immune system and slow your thinking. So it is a good idea to get enough sleep.
